My name is Mônica and I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
I am an English teacher and Translator full time. I recently translated a cozy mystery and I loved it so much that I decided to dive into this world and share my readings and recommendations with you.
Besides cozy mysteries, I read cozy romances, thrillers, shorts stories, classics and books about forensics and medicine (Yes, this is my guilty pleasure)
What inspires me? Winter and rainy days.
Perfect spot to read? A comfort chair with a blanket and a cup of tea.
My dream is to travel to Ireland. I could say I am irish by heart. I adore absolutely everything about the Emerald Island: the landscapes, the culture, the legends and all the magic. ☘️💚
Besides reading; I also like cute dogs, listen to 80’s music, Halloween, Christmas, winter, rainy days, bookshops, flowershops, coffeeshops, watch Hallmark movies (another guilty pleasure), tea and sometimes a glass of wine.
